Job Description The IRB Analyst performs regulatory analysis and administrative review of IRB submissions by BMC and BU Medical Campus investigators to ensure compliance with Federal research regulations, HIPAA and institutional policies. This includes review of initial submissions, renewals, amendments, and reportable events. Maintains documentation of IRB review in accordance with Federal regulations and institutional policies. Conducts pre-review of expedited and exempt research under the supervision of a senior analyst or IRB Administrator and review of proposals to cede studies to external IRBs.
