DescriptionThe Shoda Lab As a physician-scientist bridging between the bed and bench, Dr. Shoda's mission is to improve the lives of patients with severe allergies and their families by accelerating translational research. The Shoda Lab aims to establish future precision medicine by the comprehensive, personalized characterization of genetic, molecular and clinical features of severe allergies, including eosinophilic conditions. The extent of clinical burden of eosinophilic diseases, such as severe eosinophilic asthma and eosinophilic gastrointestinal diseases (EGID), and the complexity of their disease pathogenesis are intriguing and challenging.
