DescriptionThe Staff Research Associate I (SRA 1) will assist in studying the neural networks within the spinal cord and leverage this understanding to facilitate recovery of motor function after spinal cord injury (SCI). The SRA 1 should have background in the scientific method, data analysis, and statistics. You will assist in conducting human and some animal based experiments in spinal cord injury. Additionally, the ability to learn rehabilitation skills of spinal cord injured individuals are sought. Training will be a continuous feature of this position. The SRA 1 will be working on innovative research and as such will learn new techniques as they apply to emerging projects and teach other research personnel
