Position Summary

Responsibilities

• You will implement all levels of studies as you study feasibility, IRB applications, data collection forms, patient screening and enrollment, data analysis, and sponsor/IRB communications
• You will verify investigative procedures and prepare reports
• You will cover all aspects of compliance from Institution, Federal Drug Administration and sponsor regulations on clinical research in human subjects
• You will partner across internal and external groups applying leadership, good judgement and effective communication skills

Requirements

• Bachelors’ degree required preferably in science, healthcare or other related fields; Four (4) years of experience in research coordination may be substituted for educational requirements
• CPR required within 30 days of placement in position
• Depending on assigned area one of the following is required in the first 90 days of employment: Washington State Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist Certification, Washington State Medical Assistant Registration
• Minimum two (2) years of research experience within a healthcare setting
• Familiar with and comfortable with research methodology and the “scientific method” for conducting research projects
• Prior experience as a research coordinator, GCP training and/or Research Certification strongly preferred
• Current Washington State Drivers License; and proof of a safe driving record (which meets established MHS Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state
