The role you’ll contribute:
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. Serves as a liaison for Vice President, Research Operations, working closely with the senior leadership team of AHRI, AdventHealth Corporate, Institute Development Program Managers and external partners, when needed, to develop and define project tasks and resource requirements, monitors and reports on progress of the project, assesses results, and takes action to meet deliverables within scope and budget. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.This leader will collaborate with and support the Regional Executive Director of Clinical Experience and Corporate Consumer Experience Team in on-going operational planning, communication, educational and process development and deployments and regional training experiences. - Coordinates, manages and monitors the workings of various projects in the organization. Serves as a liaison between senior leadership team, business users and implementation team communicating appropriately and effectively with co-workers, customers and supervisors. Maintains awareness of project status and any potential delay, situation or concern that may affect the outcome of the project.
- Facilitates the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables. Defines project tasks and resource requirements. Implements projects with a strategic purpose, adhering to quality standards and procedures through the project lifecycle.
- Constantly monitors and reports on progress of the project to all stakeholders, including project budget and resource allocation, timelines and project deliverables using appropriate tools.
- Provides critical insights and recommendations for project success to VP through assessed results and learnings, both positive and negative.
- Plans and supports leadership offsite meetings, summits and AHRI wide activities.
- Develops and implements innovate project management strategies to maximize efforts to clarify, centralize, collaborate and disseminate information pertaining to the initiatives assigned in support of the Vice President, Research Operations and AHRI Leaders.
Performs administrative tasks and other responsibilities relating to the promotion of various programs and/or projects.
QualificationsThe expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Ability to communicate and work with senior executive teams, operations teams, and other stakeholders to analyze, plan, develop and implement assigned initiatives.
- Ability to conduct oneself professionally, maintaining confidence, confidentiality, integrity and objectivity
- Strong organizational and time management skills in order to handle multiple tasks simultaneously successfully
- Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in understandable terms to all levels of staff
- High competency in computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:
· Knowledge in theoretical and practical aspects of project management and use of project management systems and change management ideologies.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, Finance or a related field
- Two years of work experience in clinical research or related healthcare environment in a project management or program coordination role.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, Finance or a related field
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED:
· Achieved or actively pursuing Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
