Summary: Responsible for reviewing bill holds, Aurora worklists, and other reports identifying pre-billing deficiencies connected to Registration, Medical Necessity, Authorizations, Diagnoses, etc.Makes inquiries, resolves deficiencies, and identifies opportunities for improvement in front end registration to avoid errors in future.Partners with Patient Financial Services, and Patient Billing Services to ensure revenue integrity.

Responsibilities:
Reviews Aurora Bill Hold Worklists, researches and resolves bill hold.
Performs daily audits and reports review. Analyzes data for trends and prepares dashboards for Leadership.
Utilizes Invision, Cerner, SCI, Aurora and other applications or systems within Registration/Patient Access to research, review and resolve denials and other bill holds.
Works with Business Services, investigating denials, writing letters of appeal, addressing Medical necessity to capture lost revenue.
Assures accuracy and updates of CDM/CPT numbers and codes.
Educate staff, in partnership with QA Training Unit, on procedure updates and the billing process.
Maintains daily data reports when needed
Resource for CMS CDM/CPT and private payors on up to date policies and rulings.
