JOB SUMMARY         Under the direct supervision of the Director of Research & Regulatory Affairs, implements, coordinates and monitors the quality assurance program for all human research overseen by the Cook County Health & Hospitals System (CCHHS) Institutional Review Board (IRB).  Supports investigations of quality assurance and outreach.  Acts as a liaison between the committee, investigators and staff.  Performs   ongoing audits of human subject research, reviews charts and records, and interviews research staff for evidence of compliance. Identifies learning needs, develops educational materials, and participates in education of investigators and research staff on human research.
