The Director of Research Protections reports to the Vice Provost for Research, and works collaboratively with the chairs of regulatory committees, department chairs, deans, and University administration to provide support, compliance monitoring and oversight, and facilitate ethical conduct of research. Research Protections facilitates research and creative endeavors by administering programs that provide ethical and regulatory oversight of research involving human participants, animals, recombinant DNA, export control, responsible conduct of research, and Conflict of Interest regulations.
