Research Analyst, Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometry
ResponsibilitiesAs the IRMS Research Analyst at the UCLA Olympic Analytical Laboratory, you will be responsible for developing and applying methodologies primarily in the technical area of gas chromatography / combustion / isotope ratio mass spectrometry (GC/C/IRMS) for the purpose of detecting the origin of endogenous steroids. Method development and application will entail assessment of strategies for detection with a focus on sensitivity, selectivity and efficiency; optimization of sample preparation procedures, instrumentation, data analysis, validation of method performance and application to service samples and samples resulting from administration studies.
