The Vanderbilt Memory and Alzheimer's Center seeks qualified applicants for a Clinical Research Program Manager. The candidate will plan, develop and execute multiple clinical studies for the newly developed NIA-funded Alzheimer's Disease Research Center, under occasional guidance from the Center Director and faculty leadership. High-level responsibilities will focus on organizing and implementing new protocols, hiring and training new staff, allocating and monitoring staff responsibilities, tracking study progress and milestones, and overseeing data collection activities. Successful applicants will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with colleagues and participants from diverse backgrounds. This position is ideal for applicants looking to grow their clinical research management skills in a highly collaborative environment. Exceptional organizational skills, verbal communication, written communication, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail are required. Proficiency in all Microsoft applications is also required. Experience with project management, especially in a research setting, is preferred.
The Department of Neurology boasts a strong research portfolio across its subspecialties. Faculty members are regular contributors to scientific journals and receive generous funding from public, private, and government institutions. Grants and contracts are growing, and faculty members are focused on recruiting and supporting clinical and translational research programs focused on precision in diagnosis and treatment. These research activities provide patients with hosts of opportunities to participate in clinical trials and other investigations aimed at improving quality of life and ultimately changing the course of neurological disease. Total sponsored research in the department has doubled since 2016, and there has been a three-fold increase in clinical trials in recent years.

Oversees the creation, coordination, and implementation of all protocols related to the new Vanderbilt Alzheimer's Disease Research Center.
