The Ohio University Office of Research Compliance is seeking a full time Research Compliance Coordinator. The Research Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for accepting and processing research proposals for compliance committee review; facilitating the review process between review committees and the research community; and scheduling meetings and recording minutes that comply with regulatory requirements.
We are seeking a candidate who can work well with a wide range of constituents in a position that requires multi-tasking, diplomacy, confidentiality, and excellent attention to detail.

The successful candidate will have a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of experience working in a position that requires effective communication, organization, diplomacy, and attention to detail. The successful candidate will be expected to pursue certification as an IRB or IACUC professional.
Preference will be given to individuals with CIP and/or CPIA certification and/or training in IRB and/or IACUC operations.

Additional Salary Information: The hiring range for this position is $39,506 to $44,938 annually.
