This is a highly visible position that represents the CITI Program to the community, national experts, and professional and academic societies. This individual is primarily responsible for the development and oversight of content related to compliance topics of specific interest to institutions of higher education. The individual will work with faculty, scholars/experts, and staff, in all levels and in varying professional areas within higher education to help ensure CITI Program impact and success. The individual also ensures proper relationships are established and maintained with these individuals.
This position is specifically responsible for the development and management of the CITI Program's content in higher education compliance topics. In this capacity, the person in this role works closely with the Director of Content and Education, as well as the Associate Directors, and other unit heads to help lead the development, maintenance, impact, and growth of the educational products in this content area. This position will be responsible for the identification of content areas and the planning and execution of new content development in the area of higher education compliance. In the execution of new content, this position will be primarily responsible for working with authors/presenters of content (including identification, contract, overseeing work, and editing) and peer reviewers.
Broad knowledge in higher education compliance areas such as Title IX, Clery Act, student administration, conflicts of interest, and FERPA. Equivalent to a four year college degree, plus 5 years related experience and/or training, and 3 years related management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in the operations of a university compliance office preferred. Previous experience in instructional design, teaching/training, or e-learning course development preferred. Master’s, professional, or terminal degree preferred.
