The primary purpose of this position is to work collaboratively with the chairs of regulatory committees, department chairs, deans, and University administration to provide support, compliance monitoring and oversight, and facilitate ethical conduct of research.
Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience or Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience.
3 years of experience with human subjects protections programs and administration of the Institutional Review Board.
Experience with at least one additional program listed under “Essential Duties and Responsibilities”.
Proven attention to detail; strong analytical and organizational skills essential.
Superb communications skills; ability to articulate complex regulatory issues to diverse audiences from students to administration.
Experience in training and presenting to internal (committees, investigators) and external (conferences, webinars, etc.).
The following certifications help to demonstrate qualifications:
Certified IRB Professional (CIP)
Certified IACUC Professional Administrator (CIPA)
Export Controls Officer certification
Records of basic training (such as IRB Administrator 201) in any areas will provide evidence of qualifications
MS degree with at least 3 years of experience in research compliance.
Experience with conflict of interest (COI) policy administration and COI management plan creation and implementation.
Working knowledge of regulations governing additional programs listed under under “Essential Duties and Responsibilities”.
