Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital is seeking an Institutional Review Board (IRB) Program Manager to join our team. The IRB Program Manager is responsible for oversight of the operations of the Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital IRB Program including the Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital IRB Committee.
Bachelor’s degree in appropriate discipline (e.g. nursing, social sciences, allied heath profession) required. Master’s degree preferred.
Certification by a professional organization in the area of human subjects research/human research protections is preferred (e.g. SOCRA, CIP).
2-5 years of management experience, preferably within an academic medicine environment.
Minimum of five years of relevant work experience with IRBs and/or clinical research.Regulatory/compliance experience desired. Knowledge of ethical principles, regulations, policies and procedural requirements pertaining to human subject’s research and institutional review boards required.
Strong supervisory, administrative, coordination and management skills.
Strong writing skills; effective communication, presentation and facilitation skills; must be organized and detail oriented.
