5 physician infectious disease practice providing in/outpatient care, infusion therapy, wound care, FDA-approved research protocols, and travel medicine consultation to the metro Atlanta community, located in Decatur, GA, has an immediate opening for an experienced Clinical Research Coordinator (RN, MN, FNP-BC, or PA). The primary focus of this important position will be to coordinate clinical trials by assisting with IRB submissions, assisting in regulatory document preparation and collection, in-servicing research teams, recruiting study participants, obtaining permission/assent, educating participants, scheduling and conducting study procedures, collecting and recording study data, maintaining study records, interfacing with study sponsors, and participation in study sponsor monitoring visits.
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Screen and enroll patients according to specific protocol requirements. • Reviewing inclusion/exclusion criteria for the PI. • Completing all study specific procedures according to the study protocol. • Completing source documents and assisting the study coordinator with data transcription onto the Case Report Form (CRF). • Screens patients for all open studies and enroll patients according to specific protocol requirements. • Demonstrate ability to coordinate and establish priorities among diverse tasks, as this position will afford the opportunity for the independent management of assigned clinical trials.

We offer infusion therapy through our Office Infusion Center and travel medicine care through Safe Passage Travel Medicine, P.C. We also direct wound care at DeKalb Medical’s Comprehensive Wound Care Center.
