Our members are organizations that perform biomedical research, often using animal models, professional associations, and organizations that support biomedical research and education. They are located in New England and New York and include research colleges, universities and medical centers, medical schools, biotechnology and pharmaceutical firms, professional associations, and vendor/servicer companies. The president is responsible for the overall health, growth and operation of MSMR. This is a full-time position, reporting to the Board of Directors. The MSMR office is currently located in North Chelmsford, Massachusetts.
Skills required -
Ability to manage and execute numerous responsibilities simultaneously and to prioritize those responsibilities.
Strong public presentation, verbal and written communications, including the ability to present complex information simply and compellingly.

Experience required – demonstrated success in -
Servicing or stewardship of customers, donors or members.
Managing staff and/or volunteers.
Developing customers, members or donors, including research, cultivation and solicitation.
Managing a for-profit or non-profit organization (possibly a division of a larger organization), including staffing, budgeting, vendors/suppliers and regulatory reporting.
Marketing communications, including new and traditional media.
Additional Salary Information: Four weeks’ paid vacation plus Federal and Massachusetts holidays.
