ROLE of the POSITION This full-time, 1 2-month, professional position is expected to provide pre- and post-award clinical trial services within the centralized Office of Sponsored Programs. Services include, but are not limited to drafting, negotiating, and finalizing clinical trial agreements (CTA), non-disclosure agreements (NDA), and other research-related contracts, grants, and subcontracts; developing and reconciling budgets, billing grids, and internal cost summaries; invoicing and monitoring costs to ensure financial compliance, including participant level cost-accounting and effort for clinical trial team members, preparing and submitting financial reports, and ensuring reimbursement for costs incurred: providing overall compliance and audit support and other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS This position requires a Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university and three years related professional experience. Demonstrated knowledge of clinical trials administration and compliance, superior organizational skills, and excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Knowledge of federal regulations, including the CFR & FAR, agency CFR/FAR implementations, and the Uniform Guidance formerly codified in OMB Circulars (A-2 1, A-110, and A-133) and other clinical trial compliance regulations is also required. Prior experience in a research university with a medical school or a research hospital is preferred.
SALARY RANGE Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions. Position is contingent upon funding.
